Using the directory

BoroFinder provides a local business directory and community information. These terms apply when you browse, create an account, claim a business, or submit content. If you do not agree, please do not use these services. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled.

Listings, hours, prices, events, availability, and ratings can change or contain mistakes. Confirm important details directly with the business before visiting or buying. A listing, owner verification badge, or rating is not a guarantee of quality, licensing, safety, or availability. Purchases from listed businesses are between you and that business.

Accounts and business claims

Keep your account information accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. Claim only a business you own or are authorized to represent. We may verify a claim using the business website's email domain, the phone number already on the listing, or manual review. Verification establishes access to manage a listing; it does not certify every fact about a business.

Keep submitted business details accurate and tell us when your authority to manage a listing ends. We may decline, suspend, or revoke a claim where ownership is disputed, verification fails, or these terms are violated. Contact us if a claim is disputed or access is incorrect.

Information and reviews you submit

Submit only information and media you have the right to share. Do not submit impersonation, spam, fabricated experiences, unlawful content, harassment, private personal details about others, or misleading claims. Resident reviews must describe your own firsthand experience. Do not review your own business or submit a review on behalf of someone else.

By submitting content, you give BoroFinder permission to store, review, format, and display it to operate the directory, including publishing approved listing information and reviews. You retain any rights you have in your original content. Contact us to request a correction or removal.

New listing submissions, tips, and resident reviews enter review before publication. We may reject, hide, or remove material that violates these terms or cannot be verified. Not every submission is published, and we do not promise a publication or response deadline. Imported ratings are labeled separately from reviews submitted to BoroFinder.

Free claims and paid services

Claiming an eligible business listing is free. Verification is required before owner management access is approved.

Paid plans are not open yet. Your free claim remains available. Planned pricing and features do not create a subscription or authorize a charge. Features marked coming soon are not available yet.

We do not guarantee traffic, sales, search rankings, or a particular review outcome. Payment does not purchase a positive review or override review moderation. Refund questions are handled through Contact; nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law gives you.

Responsible use and availability

Do not interfere with the site, bypass access controls or rate limits, misuse other people's accounts, or extract private data. Third-party links, maps, embedded media, and business websites have their own terms and privacy practices.

We work to maintain the directory, but do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free information. We may change features, correct records, or restrict abusive access. These terms do not exclude obligations or consumer protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Questions, corrections, and updates

For terms questions, claim disputes, copyright concerns, or content corrections, use Contact or email lacey@dusklight.digital. Include the relevant listing or content URL and enough detail for us to investigate. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Review the current terms when using a new service or submitting new content.
